Wulfie 06-17-2008, 01:49 AM howmuch of brake fluid did you put in ? if you put in about 500 ml or more , its possible that the brake light indicator float located in the resevoir might be stuck in the minimum position causing the light to turn on, just make sure the float is all the way up & get u'r vehicle checked for leaks / brake condition. ken48b 06-17-2008, 02:38 AM eon some cars when the brakes get wore down the light will come on letting you know to replace them. since you had to put in brake fluid that tells me that is what you need to check . as your shoes wear down the calipers require some of the fluid in your reservoir once you put on new pads you will probably be over full on fluid when you collapse the calipers to install new pads |
