Which one would you buy and why?

The Highlander, precisely a 2006 Highlander Hybrid. The Pilot does not have any ability to stand out. It is pretty much every SUV on the road today. I have to say, for the price, the Highlander Hybrid looks sharp. Not to mention a great fuel economy.

Wow. A true toss-up here. Both vehicles will give you years of relatively trouble-free driving. Both have great resale value and are on the higher-end of fuel efficiency for SUVs. You can (as mentioned) get a Highlander Hybrid if you can find one.

If I HAD to choose between the two, I'd go Highlander. Only reason would be road noise. The Highlander is MUCH quieter and has a little softer ride.

Usually, I choose Honda, but this one is the only exception.
