I need help finding the Fuel filter on A Toyota Hiace 2001 it is A 2.4 can anyone let me know where it is located and is it easy to change?

under the intake manifold. difficult to change bcoz its location. good luck

remove nearside wheel. pop off rubber 'curtain' that protects engine bay from wheel arch. filter is now staring straight at you on the right hand side of the opening. unclip water warning wires, unscrew, fill new filter with diesel, remount, reattach wire connector. Prime from on top in engine bay, maybe best to have somebody turn over engine on the key while somebody else primes. Mine started really easily.

He did not state diesel motor, can any one confirm that this is where the petrol models filter is on a 1995–2001 Toyota Hiace SBV
