There are 2 glove boxes in my Rav. There's the bottom one which is a typical glove box & then there's one th@ has a open/close button. Several ppl have messed with it by pushin it open & close & not usin the clearly marked button b/c it's somethin they've never seen b4 & they feel the need to play with it. Now it's off its tracks & I have to manually push it up & pull it down. The button is also decompressed & doesn't move @ all if you try to push it. I hate how it looks & it's botherin the hell out'a me. Anybody know how to get it back on its tracks? Would my warranty cover it if I took it to a service shop to have it fixed? SERIOUS answers only please. Thanks!

I love my 2007 Rav 4 because of all the nifty little hideaways... Yes, it should be covered by your warranty. Just bring it in and they will fix it. Should only take a little time depending on how crowded the place is. Usually if you go half an hour before it opens, you will get in quickly, and then out quickly.

NOTHING BETTER TO DO

Toyota warranty is 3 years 36,000 miles and is one of the best in the business. If you fall within that, it is covered and they will fix it. Contrary to what most people think and what I used to think, dealers cannot afford to carry in stock one of everything on the car, so you may run into a situation where they have to order a part to fix it, necessitating a return visit. Hope this helps. God Bless!
