can anyone tell me how driving the MR2 Spyders sequential manual tranny is diff from driving an automatic and/or manual? I know there's no clutch pedal, so can I just hold throttle while I'm upshifting or downshifting? or do I need to ease up on throttle and then shift?

It Actually is a manual Transmission. It just uses a solenoid to disengage the clutch pedal every time you shift. It uses everyything else from the manual. Its a clutchless manual transmission
