a button next to the gear shiffter on toyota cressida which says power ECT-S ? i need to know what it means.

electronic controlled timing systems i believe. similiar to honda's vtec(valve timing electronic controlled). not 100% sure but when in use it almost drives like a manual 5 speed. i did say "almost" not quite tho.
