Are they reliable and good for first time drivers?

I think they are perfect for 1st time drivers, also for students or someone looking for a commuter car. I personally thinks the sedan is stylish. The great thing about this car is the fuel efficiency which is at 34 city and 39 hwy. This a incredible for a gas vehicle. That is even higher than alot of hybrids out there. Another great thing is the price; the S Sedan starts at 13k.

Yes my friend (in her late 50's) thinks hers is fantastic and swears by its' reliability, I think it is completely spoiled by the shape of it. If you are fairly young then you probably want to drive something with a bit more style and not something that looks like a 'Shopping trolley'

Yes they are reliable because first of all its toyota. I have one and just love it. I would recommend it to anyone that wants to have a quality car with cheaper insurance and best of all gas mileage!!

It Is A good Car

I think just about any thing with the Toyota badge will be reliable. If you're young i'd opt for the hatch back though, a little sexier, IMO.

If you can afford one as a first time driver, you must be really spoiled.

Consider this, 90% of the cars and trucks on the road are taller, heavier, and safer in an accident. If your experience with driving is limited, consider a larger car to survive an accident with the rest of the veihicles on the road.
