That first answer is wrong. The new Accord is a full size sedan which is bigger than a compact SUV like the Rav4. You get more trunk space in the Rav4, but there is much more room in the seating area of the Accord.
The Accord does get better gas mileage and has much more technology and standard features.
the only advantage the Rav4 offers is AWD.
