My favorite is the little liftback. I test drove it shortly after it was available on the market and thought it was a blast to drive. Like driving a go-kart! :) Anyway when it came time to buy I really wanted to get the liftback in white or blue but as it turns out it would not have been practical for me, dad, and sister. ...especially considering dad and I are into flying model planes. ...so I bought an '06 Corolla. It's a great car and just as much fun to drive as the little Yaris.

I think it is very nice but just too small. I'm not saying it is unsafe but a smaller car is always at a disadvantage when it collides with a larger car. I would take a step up to the Corolla. It is still small but a bit more substantial than the Yaris.

My uncle bought one for his daughter-- who is a terrible driver-- 5 wrecks in 3 months! she is VERY hard on cars-- The yaris gets great gas mileage and she loves the car--- and it has held up to her driving so it has to be a good car!!!! She is a 19 year old college freshman
