Recently, I had Fuels injector cleaning service done at Wal-Mart. After this service was done, the "Service Engine" and "VSC control" light in the dash board stays ON. I was told by Wal-Mart automotive service that the "Check Engine" light is ON since the fuel injector cleaning is done and the oxygen sensor is reading the oxygen-fuel ratio improperly. It will go OFF in 24 hrs. They did not take any responsibility for "VSC" light staying on. This light was not ON when i turned in my vehiclefor fuel injector cleaning service.
Are they telling me the truth about "Service Engine" and "VSC" light? Any advice would be appreciated.

Your light is for the "Vehicle Stability Control".
No, it has nothing to do with the Check Engine light. it is a part of the steering and braking system. take to the shop and explain what happened, they may find something unpluged or damaged. if so, wal mart should pay for the repairs or diagnostic charge. make sure you document either with pictures or by technician writing what they saw. I check for TSBs and recalls online and found that there is a bulletin to reprogram the VSC computer. This maybe another possibility.
The Check engine light is due to the cleaner, however if they improperly did the cleaning, this will damage the Oxygen Sensor. The cleaner will leave a film on it and the only way to fix it is to replace it.
If it doesn't go out on it's own, take it to a shop. Again, if the technician believes that it was due to wal marts cleaner, document it and take it to walmart.

The Service Engine Light can be triggered by a fuel injection system cleaning. Maybe it will go off on it's own, might have to have it reset. No big deal. Possible something was not reattached after the cleaning was done. Again, no big deal. Easy to have codes read on the RAV4, just need someone(most auto parts stores) with an OBD II scanner. The VSC light is strange. Vehicle Stability Control - traction and steering... don't know enough about that particular system to know how a FISC could set off your VSC light, if it did...
By the way, I have no affiliation with Wal-Mart, or even a fan of their TLE's... have had similar occurances though.
