was owned by an elderly couple.? I flushed it and it was the rustiest I have ever seen. The only problem with the car when I recieved it was that the heater was not working. Someone had disconected the heater hoses. I found out that the heater core was gone. I had this replaced.

This car is still in great condition 62,000 milesbut now the head gasket is failing. It is still running good. When this head is removed what will this look like after 25 years of rust.

What are the chances that this is just a head gasket and not a cracked head or block.

This car was never overheated or abused. What am I going to find?

take it to a mechanic, they can take a closer look at it. Its probably just the head gasket.
