I'm thinking about buying a 2006 Rav-4 (with the third row seat and side curtain airbags).

I hope my answer helps you. I own a Totoya RAV4L for a year now and I love it. It is an incredible vehicle, 5 people can fit comfortably, the cd / radio control on the steering wheel are great as well as the cruise control, ABS brakes integrated, traction control prevents you from sliding on wet street, strong torque, etc. What else can I tell you ? The Toyota service is great and cheap compare to other makes.
