Friend came over to jump start it. It would not turn over still. My battery is not very old. Just the sound of "click, click, click". A young man told me it sounds like the cylinoid is bad and needs to be replaced. Anyone know what that sound means or what might be wrong?

Yea solenoid might be the problem but there might also be some wire loos or of or your starter is just finished.!
