I'm looking at buying a new Yaris Hatchback - the 5 door model. I will need to tow a small U-Haul accross Canada with it. Otherwise, I will be using it for daily city driving and frequent weekend road-trips through both mountains and prairies.
I wouldn't usually buy new but I hear the depreciation on Toyotas is minimal, and I like the security of a new car.
Any suggestions re: new/used and whether the Yaris is good bang for the buck?
Thanks!

I've had my Yaris from new (2004) it's a black T3 D4D, and is my favourite car I have ever had. He does about 65mpg, is ultra reliable and has only ever needed an oil and filter change. He hasn't lost much in terms of value, is cheap to run and cheap to insure. My model is the 3 door and the seats fold right down to give you plenty of room. It is great on the motorway as well as in town, easy to park etc, but also very stable handling. The engine will last forever. I'd give it 10/10!!

Your not going to find a used Yaris in the states as its new here. I had been looking at a prius but when I saw the mileage a Yaris does and the price difference I am seriously looking at the Yaris. Here's some sites on it.

this has the cargo and towing info if you scroll down.
