I just purchased car and when the car comes to a complete stop *red light- stop sigh etc..*, the car barely moves but once its in motion its fine. My thought was the transmission but its new. Whatelse could this be? Its an automatic.

It could be your distrubitor going or something with your rotor {engine} spark plugs I wouldnot suggest anything big like a transmisson or bad engine probably minor. Toyotas are good cars dont let anyone tell you different. I had a nissan 85 that was great but started to drive farther and needed something more reliable. Cars last Forever as long as you keep up the maintenance.Keep your car forever you will never want a car payment because new cars break too and they cost more, and you still have to pay the car note and the repair if its not under warranty.
