...stability control" problem. my dealer could not pin point the problem. he said it shouldn't be a problem...what a joke. any answers to what it might be?

Well first let me say your dealer is a moron. Second there are a lot of sensor on the VSC system(yaw and pitch wheel speed etc)so you need more information. although your dealer should fix the problem for free as your still under warranty. Are there any other dealers(toyota) around you? even a scion dealer would be able to fix it if they have half a clue.Good luck

no but take it back to the dealer and tell him to pin point the problem because it is still under warranty so it is his problem

Just take it back to the stealership, and talk to the manager of the shop.

check your owners manual for a reset button :)
