By the way I live in Canada.
Hi, okay well I am looking into buying a Toyota Venza AWD with the premium package (leather, heated, etc), or the base 4 cylinder Toyota Highlander. I need to usually only at the most carry 4 passengers, but I like the Minivan feel of the Highlander with the 2nd row captain chairs. They are both in my price range. I need peoples opinions and which one I should choose. Thank you! :D

No idea about the Venza, but the Highlander is built on a truck chassis and therefore rides a little "hard" somewhat like a Tacoma does

The Highlander is built on a car platform (shared with the Camry and Avalon), and *not* on a truck platform.

To the OP: The Highlander's ride is very comfortable. I have never driven the Venza, but had been considering it as well. We decided against it since we already have a 5-seater vehicle and want to complement it with something a bit bigger. The Highlander that I test drove was pretty quiet (V6) and had a great ride.
