The Highlander is being worked on and being fixed (external) while the Mitsubishi has about 90,000 millage on it but it does not need any work done. I will pay about the same for both each is 6k.

Which should I get? I'm low on cash, very low

I would definately go with the 04 galant. 90,000 miles isnt anything on those cars.

Get the Mits. In the long run it will be a better buy. It's easy on insurance & gets decent mpg's provided it's a 4 cyl. The Toyota is nice, but a bit of a gas guzzler. Prices of fuel may be far better than last year, but it will take only one knucklehead world leader to screw that up & make us all suffer will sudden increases in fuel prices.
